The wax here isn't black. These records are tinted right through: turquoise on Lost Witness, orange on St Germain's Tourist, sunburst on Amelie Lens' Aura. It's an edition choice, sometimes tied to a stated pressing run, sometimes to artwork built around the colour. You'll find techno, trance, disco and rock side by side, from Jean-Michel Jarre to the Belgian Bootlegs. The tint changes what you pull from the sleeve and set on the platter.
