The first volume of a house series from The Funk District, aka Fernando Mendoza, head of the Kaninchenbau label he founded in 2022. True to form, he blends funk groove with warm house: 'Body Motion Syndrome 001' runs through four dancefloor-ready cuts. On the A-side, 'Funky Worm' sets the tone and 'Turned Up For Free' keeps the hips moving; the B-side steps it up with the gospel-tinged 'Praise The Lord' and closer 'We're Gonna Need'.
