Louie Vega & The Elements Of Life – Brownswood Remix Editions 011 LP
The eleventh chapter in Brownswood Recordings' Remix Editions series, and a serious one: Louie Vega reworks the catalogue of Elements Of Life, his own collective. The New York house pioneer, one half of Masters At Work and a Grammy winner, delivers two dancefloor-focused reworks. On the A-side, « Love From The Sun » gets the Louie Vega's We Out Here Edit, carried by the voices of Rahsaan Patterson and Cindy Mizelle. On the flip, « People Make The World Go Round » shifts into a Brownswood Vamp Dub featuring the great Dee Dee Bridgewater on vocals. Deep, warm soulful house from one of the few who truly knows how to make a groove sing. Pre-order, released 11 December 2026.
