Joe Goddard – You
Half of Hot Chip and co-founder of the Greco-Roman label, Joe Goddard lands five tracks on Permanent Vacation, built for a dancefloor that still has a heart. The title track You sets the tone: warm, melodic house with no showing off. On Hide and Seek he reunites with his longtime Hot Chip foil Alexis Taylor, whose voice works wonders over this kind of groove, while Cutting You Loose (feat Glyn) and Gentle Man (feat Absolute.) widen the palette. Goddard has that rare mix of pop craft and genuine love of club music — and you can hear it across the whole B-side, led by Human Endeavour. A record that aims for the body without forgetting the emotion. New vinyl, pre-order (release 25/09/2026). Audio previews available on the product page.
