JoeyStarr – Gare Au Jaguarr
JoeyStarr's first solo album, Gare Au Jaguarr dropped in 2006, eight years after Suprême NTM's last studio record. One half of the legendary French duo stepping out alone, blunt and raw — the album fits the man: rage and introspection, swagger and flashes of anger. Mostly produced by Dadoo and JoeyStarr himself, it fires off tracks like Métèque, Bad Boy, 93 Déboule and Cigarette Piégée, closing on the Caribbean nod of The Jam "West Indies Break Bites" with Nathy & Mr. Toma. A missing piece of 2000s French rap, finally back on new vinyl. Pre-order.
