Various – The Paradise Hours
Four-track various-artists compilation on theBasement Discos, the independent Spanish label built on house music steeped in disco and funk — and that's exactly what you get on The Paradise Hours. Side A opens with the sunlit groove of "Supernova" from DJ Sandwich and Marc Pané, then Naux brings the disco-house wink of "La Vida Locale". On the flip, Heritage Listed lays down the smooth "Peace At Last" and Jansen closes things out with "A To Z". A perfect tool for DJs chasing warm, dancefloor-ready house: four producers, one direction, that groovy sun-drenched sound the label is known for. New vinyl, available on pre-order.
