Julian Sanza – JS Edits Vol 1
Julian Sanza, an Argentine producer and DJ based in Bogotá, knows exactly what he's doing when it comes to reshaping old funk and disco cuts for the dancefloor. This first volume of his JS Edits series fully owns the concept: two edits built to move a room, no fuss. "Eddie's Avenue" rides a warm groove between house and tastefully recycled disco, while "Estoy Hablando" brings in the latin feel that runs through much of his work. No cerebral house here, just direct, effective tracks made for the peaktime moments when you want something warm and familiar.
