Iron Maiden – Somewhere In Time

Iron Maiden's sixth album, Somewhere In Time (1986), is the sound of a band taking a bold turn: it was their first record to feature guitar synthesizers, and it reshapes everything. Produced by Martin Birch across Compass Point (Nassau) and Wisseloord (Holland), the album pushes toward a darker, spacier atmosphere while keeping Steve Harris's gallop and Bruce Dickinson's commanding vocals intact. "Wasted Years" and "Stranger in a Strange Land", both penned by Adrian Smith, are the singles and two of the band's finest cuts; "Caught Somewhere in Time" and the epic "Alexander the Great" seal the deal for longtime fans. Iconic Derek Riggs cover, Eddie as a Blade Runner-style cyborg. An underrated Maiden that earns its spot on the turntable.Anniversary EditionLimited Edition
