Uncertain – Defeat
Behind Uncertain is Rainer Gonaus, a Vienna-based DJ and producer formerly known as Boriqua Tribez, who's been working the techno circuit for over two decades. On Life In Patterns — a label known for its deep, hypnotic sound — Defeat lives up to its name: tense, dark and slow-burning, with Madness and Anxiety setting an uneasy tone across the A-side. The smart move is the five locked grooves closing side A: a gift for DJs, loops made to layer and stretch in a live set. Side B goes more direct with Dismiss, the title track Defeat and Caution, built straight for the floor. Hypnotic techno for serious booths. Pre-order, released 16/10/2026.
