VARIOUS ARTISTS – 20 AÑOS. LAYERED FROM THE INDIVIDUAL (2LP)
New vinyl. To mark 20 years, Semantica Records — the Madrid label run by Svreca and a reference point for deep, hypnotic techno — delivers a double LP that plays like a snapshot of its roster. The heavy hitters are all here: Oscar Mulero's dense « Gyrating Sandstorm », the brooding tension of Adriana Lopez's « Unspoken » and Dimi Angelis' relentless « Infallible ». Decka (« Inaffection »), Aiken and Michel Lauriola round out a selection that leans toward demanding, textured club techno built for big rigs and long sets. Svreca fittingly closes things out with « Lateralizando ». Not a showcase sampler but a proper label record, coherent from A1 to D3. Essential for anyone who follows the stable.
