Written by Nick Ashford and Valerie Simpson — the New York duo behind countless soul hits, Nick having passed away in 2011 — "Found A Cure" remains one of those gospel-disco anthems with undimmed fervour. The A-side rolls out the A Tom Moulton Mix, master craftsmanship from the godfather of the disco remix himself: slow-building tension, horns and choirs that lift off. On the flip, Joey Negro (Dave Lee) delivers his Found A Dub Mix, stripped back and cut for today's dancefloor. Two takes, one truth: it still hits hard. Check the samples.
