A welcome reissue on Music On Vinyl: DJ Tails & Noizer, a Dutch duo central to the mid-90s hardcore and rave movement, back on the decks. Marc Oudijn and Michel van der Padt shaped the early rave and happy hardcore sound of the era, playing landmark events like Thunderdome and Mysteryland. It's all raw and kinetic here: breakneck drum programming, aggressive bass, a tempo that never lets up. "Drum & Basz" (in remix form on this pressing) is the signature anthem that defined the genre, but "Hail 2 Tha Wax" and "Throw Your Hands" hold their own too.
