Various – Sampler Vol. 1
The first volume in Gabu's Sampler series, and it works as a clean, confident calling card for the label. Four house cuts, four names: Foehn & Jerome open with "Emser", followed by Baloo & Carlosthings on "Vera". On the B-side, Omar Fayyad lays down "Rhythm & Chord", a title that says it all, before Zone+ close things out with "Madvillain". A compilation format made for taking a label's temperature: dancefloor-ready grooves with no filler. New vinyl, available to pre-order — samplers like this move fast, so don't sit on it.
