Salt Queen – ARE U OK
The first proper record from Salt Queen, and a strong one: the project pairs visual artist and musician Magali van Caloen with Samples From Mars founder Teddy Stuart. Based in New York, the duo build on a hardware-driven dance aesthetic and bring dry, salty takes on familiar club moments. 'ARE U OK' is a turning point for the label, long known for its sample libraries and now moving into full releases. The A-side holds the title track and its instrumental; on the B-side, the Freak Nasty Club Mix digs deeper into the groove, instrumental included for DJs. House built for the floor, direct and lean. New vinyl, available on pre-order (released 12 November 2026).
