Tabula – Hear With Me EP
Tabula is Graham Wilson, the Scottish producer and owner of Seventh Sign Recordings, opening a new chapter for his Glasgow label. Four tracks blending Detroit techno roots with brighter European electronic colours, moving across four-on-the-floor rhythms, analogue basslines and shimmering synth work. "Mode" kicks things off with an uplifting drive and bright leads; "Oberheim" rolls out arpeggios and optimistic pads with a synth-wave feel, while "Are You There" turns tense and nocturnal, crisp hi-hats over a pumping bass. Closer "Parallel Lives" shifts into retro-futurist, neon-lit melody with real 80s energy. A forward-looking EP connecting machine-soul heritage with modern electronic clarity.
