Foobar – Shifting Phases
Second release on Wax Rotterdam (WAXRDM002), this 12" from Foobar carries the damp-concrete warmth of a harbour city. It's unfussy deep house that chases mood over fireworks: the title track "Shifting Phases" eases you in, while "Parallel Motion" rides that rolling Rotterdam groove. The highlight is "Quiet Strength" featuring ES-V in its Deep On Saturday Mix, built for a late weekend stretch, before "Back On The Grind" sends you back to work. An honest record made for sets that want depth rather than flash. Proper NL sound.
