Ossie – Motivation EP
Ossie is a London producer who came up through the post-dubstep scene before leaning into broken beat and house, and here he lands on Amsterdam's Heist Recordings — Dam Swindle's label, a safe bet for warm, tightly produced house. On the Motivation EP he links with Tottenham singer Miraa May on the title track: a soulful house groove built for the floor, vocal up front and a bassline that rolls. The B-side gets more serious with the stripped-back, club-focused "Left side" and "Don't stop," full of the syncopated swing that's his signature, while "Can it get any better?" keeps things softer.
