Nachtbraker – Bodu Imchi
Nachtbraker is Maurits Verwoerd, a Dutch producer and DJ based in Amsterdam who has spent years crafting his own oddball take on house, sliding between house, breaks and off-kilter club tracks. This new EP on Up The Stuss keeps that signature intact: four cuts built for the floor that never take the obvious route. "Ompo" opens with a twisted groove, "Bodu Imchi" holds down the title-track slot, "Bathing" eases off on the B-side and "Agiven" wraps things up. This is producer's-producer stuff rather than obvious hit-making — which is exactly why we keep an eye on him. New vinyl, available for pre-order (out 11 September 2026).
