Robert Miles – Dreamland LP (2x12 + CD)
You can't talk about the 90s without « Children »: with this track Robert Miles created « dream house », the piano-driven melodic trance that defined a generation. Dreamland, his cult 1996 album, is reissued here as a 2x12" + CD on Smilaxx, featuring the essential versions — the Dream Version of « Children », both sides of « Fable » (Message and Dream), and « One And One » sung by Maria Nayler. The CD rounds things out with « Fantasya », « Landscape » and « In My Dreams ». An Italian producer who passed away in 2017, Miles remains a landmark: these piano melodies haven't aged a day. An absolute melodic trance classic — listen before you decide (samples on the page). New vinyl, available for pre-order.
