Delerium – Karma (LTD 2x12)
Vinyl reissue of Delerium's 1997 landmark, the Canadian project of Bill Leeb and Rhys Fulber (Front Line Assembly) on Nettwerk. Karma is the record that moved the duo from industrial ambient toward ethereal pads and spellbinding female vocals, crowned by "Silence" featuring Sarah McLachlan — a cult cut that became a trance classic through its remixes. But don't reduce the album to that one hit: "Euphoria (Firefly)," "Duende" and "Window To Your Soul" run the same hypnotic formula of atmospheric textures, tribal percussion and soaring voices. A cornerstone of late-'90s ethereal sound, here as a brand-new, limited-edition pressing.
