American Steel – HUSTLIN' TIME
Long-awaited Isle of Jura reissue: American Steel's « Hustlin' Time », the only 12" released under that name, originally pressed in 1983 on the small but cult Silver Screen Records label. Prime early-80s New York boogie that stayed a DJ secret weapon and a collector's grail for years. Snapping bassline, crisp drums and soulful vocals — top-shelf groove, no filler. The dub comes courtesy of Cutting Records legend Aldo Marin under his S.U.R.E. Shot alias. Four cuts — short, long, dub and instrumental — cover everything from warm-up to peak-time. New vinyl, 140g pressing, black disco sleeve. Audio previews available on the product page.
