Funky groove – Vol 1
A white label boogie/funk pressing lining up four early-80s dancefloor killers. Fat Larry's Band's "Act Like You Know" and Patrice Rushen's "Forget Me Nots" alone are worth the price — two heavily sampled, endlessly remixed classics. Round it off with boogie gold from France Joli and Champagne feat. Shana Douglas: pure warm groove, brand-new pressing, audio previews below.
